Fizzle...Fizzle...Fizzle...

Have you ever fizzled out? Not sure what I’m talking about?? I’m talking about that point in a persons life where they’re juggling about 15 things and uh oh…they drop 12 of those things. =)

That’s me. I’ve had these interview questions for the unpubbed writers sitting on my desktop. I have a manuscript proposal sitting in an envelope on my breakfast bar. (That I’m probably not even going to mail off) My parents both need me to take them to doctors appointments this week and I haven’t even started on the onslaught of homework and errands for my son or husband. Or even the article I’m now writing for our local paper. Sheesh! Throw in work, church, the PTO, open house, and whatever else and I’m going to be sitting in the corner rocking before the week is over.

How ‘bout you all? Ever feel pulled in too many directions? And just FYI, I’ve had my rant, I’ll have those interviews up soon. LOL

I'm so bad about saying no that I finally had to pack up and move to another state. It was a good excuse. Only half kidding. I've gotten better about knowing my limits but stuff still surprises me. I just have to keep reminding myself that the important stuff will get done and most of it won't matter if it doesn't.

Sending hugs your way, Girlfriend!

GET THAT MANUSCRIPT PROPOSAL OUT THE DOOR. Do I need to come mail it for you :-)

I will pray that God will give you the wisdom to know which things will matter for eternity and help you focus on those. The rest are details. Now if I could only follow that!

Send in the proposal girl. Cara will make sure of it. In fact I'm going to e-mail her and ask her to double check your house. You need to take that first step, it's important.

I'm proud of you girl for all you've accomplished with everything over the past year. Saying no is hard but essential. Remember your writing is also a ministry that will touch others and deserves priority. Argue it out with God and let Him be the final decision. That's how I learned to say no without feeling guilty.

Love you girlfriend and stay strong.

Hmmm, I was thinking we needed to get together for lunch. Maybe I'll come to your house instead of meeting you somewhere :-)

Well, make sure you tell me when you're going out with Sabrina. I want to come! And I'll hold her head in a lock while you twist her arm in getting that manuscript proposal out. Sabrina, don't be so hard on yourself. You made me tired just reading that list! (Time for an Ivanhoe's break!)

Thanks, guys! It's nice to just blow of every now and then. And Cara and Crystal lunch is on whenever you want. (as long as there's no bullying) LOL.

As far as the proposal, have any of you ever realized something you wrote isn't something you love? I think as I learn more, I'm seeing where I want my writing to go.

And I'm planning on having the first interview up Tuesday.
